Dreams of Paris!

I've been on a journey, a walk if you will to let go of my past and embrace living in the moment with a pure and loving heart! These last few months I have been so generously blessed my love has been overwhelming. I believe our reason for being here is simply to give and receive love. This is so hard to vocalize, simply being one with grace living in the moment. Sounds so easy, yet so few take even a moment.
My husband Eli and I have always wanted to visit Paris, France. I've always felt I was meant to be there. It has always spoken to us both, but in very different ways. This year, after dismissing the what-if's, we decided to embrace and take a leap of faith! We are going to the City of Lights. We have held onto old newspapers, books, etc that discussed travel to Paris. We have been warned repeatedly of the high cost of food, getting around, etc. We have weighed every option and denied ourselves for years. But now, we are going. Not only that, but I have many venues of travel scheduled for this year. A hobbit by nature - traveling abroad! Okay, I must breathe and give thanks, many thanks.
What you see is a gargoyle from one of the newspaper photos dated 2009, the bridge over Pont Neuf and Paris spelled out to indicate the top of the Eiffel Tower. None of these are drawn correctly or in proportion. They simply represent my dream. The little picture on the lower corner - well, that's a valentine I drew on my wall calendar. It's significant because we took this leap of faith on Monday the 13th!
May you all have faith in yourself and in so doing validate one another until it spreads worldwide and our arms embrace with love.

  1. Trudy you won't be disappointed, Paris is a fantastic city, totally beautiful. I lived there for almost 5 years when I was young, and even if I visit once in a while, I still keep dreaming of going back:-)

  2. Bravo!!! If you're a natural what-if type of person then such decisions are not easy to make. I know you're going to have a wonderful time.

    1. John, divine intervention in this decision. My faith has led me to this path. Plan to visit St Catherine's Altar on Rue De Bac!
